Bridal Parallel Fan Design


A powerful bouquet that is clear and strong, but also elegant. Included are Green Tea Roses, Green Carnations and Astrantia.

The base is formed with a reel wire technique often used by Pim van den Akker.


The parallel lines and reel wire bring in movement that makes it all attractive and suprising.

Anthurium & Snake Grass Table Design


A structured design which offers fabulous movement.


Bright green Dendrobiums add a splash of colour.

Spring Harrogate Show - Bridal Design


Creating a bridal design and grooms buttonhole for a cartoon character - "Princess Fiona and Shrek".

Creating a crown above the handle using aluminium wire, bullion wire and beads.

Design incorporates, Vanda and Mokara Orchids, Craspedia, Ornithogalum and Senecio.
Fabulous movement, space and depth.

Fleixgrass Bridal Design


Wonderful circles of Flexigrass create this elegant and light design. Also included are Vanda Orchids and Ornithogalum.



The trail is created with swirls of paper covered wire.

Natural Free Standing Floor Design


 
A wonderfully natural design created from a tree stump found on the compost heap!
 Reel wire and straw were used to elongate the design.

White Tulips, Craspedia and Beargrass are added to the construction.

Natural Funeral Cushion


A beautiful funeral tribute which incorporates many natural materials. Included are red Vanda heads, Astrantia, Moss, Bark, Dogwood and red Wool.

A reel wire technique often used by Per Benjamin and Moniek Vanden Berghe.


Bridal Handbag Design


An intriguing combination of materials and textures provide a natural and harmonious appearance.

Avalanche Roses, Dianthus Trick, Eustoma, Anemone and Brunia.

Natural white coil fibre and two-tone string create the cone.

Wedding Car Design


Beautiful orange Calla Lilies, knotted Typha, plaited Bear Grass and cork sqaures.

European Style Buttonhole


This Calla Lily buttonhole design takes inspiration from European floral designer Giordano Simonelli. 

Simple, yet bold and effective. This wiring technique could easily be incorporated into a handbag, hat or fascinator design.

Country Handbag


This country style handbag uses lovely organic colours and includes Avalanche Roses, white Eryngium, green Hypericum and Viburnum opulus.

A simple but stylish handle is created using mikado reeds.

The bag is made of bio-degradable mesh which is filled with hay and sewn up with natural rafia.

The teal coloured ribbon bows add a splash of colour .
Pretty and delicate!

Contemporary Handbag Design


This contemporary handbag design features Cymbidium heads, Dracaena curls, Eucalyptus leaves, bark and yellow reindeer moss.

Creating interesting textures using contemporary techniques! 

The handle is created by wrapping the Dracaena around a thick wired wool. Green bullion wire secures it in place and adds a touch of glamour.

The bag is created using 2 blocks of oasis fixed together and then carved into shape. The Cymbidium heads are placed in test tubes and then pushed into the dry foam.  

Valentines Design - for the Journal



This Valentines hand tied design features in the February edition of the Yorkshire Journal.

The design uses red Passion Roses, pink Amalia Roses, Safari Sunset, Magestic Red Calla's, Astrantia, Milky Way and red dogwood.

The contemporary heart-shaped frame captures the Valentines theme and creates a real 'wow' factor.

 The shape of the hand-crafted frame is created from aluminium wire covered in wool. Bullion wire, beads and wool manipulation techniques block in the frame. 

The rich colours and contrasting shapes and textures are beautiful. Perfect for Valentines.
